Barb and James Mason fell in love with Prince Edward County in the Fall of 2011. They were staying at Eckhert House for a week of relaxation in Sandbanks before Barb headed into chemo treatment for Breast Cancer. They were married June of 2013, and promised themselves they would spend the next few years looking for their dream retirement home in the County. Never in a million years did they expect a jewel like Jamieson House to turn up so quickly. It simply was not a house they could walk away from.
James is a teacher at Crescent School in Toronto. Barb has retired from the publishing industry, and after raising two cherished sons, became an active volunteer for Habitat for Humanity International.
The Masons decided to pay tribute to the former owners, Georgie and Andrew Jamieson who had contributed to the County in so many ways.
We absolutely love Jamieson House and know you will too.
We look forward to welcoming you to experience Jamieson House and Prince Edward County.
